This article describes a use case scenario, and how Simple Check can be configured to meet the criteria.


Use Case

While offices were re-opening during the COVID response, many employers were tracing employee wellness as part of coming into work.  A series of simple questions were asked as part of COVID tracing, like "Do you have any symptoms?" and "Have you been asked to quarantine?"


This template is part of our template library. Simply start a new Checklist to try it.


Option 1 - Filled out by each employee


Each employee would fill out the checklist each day as they enter the office. 


Configure Simple Check in the following way:


  1. Optional Location Tags. For a larger organization, one could choose their site, building, department etc as factors to tag. For smaller companies a tag would not be necessary.
  2. Create the new checklist
    1. Use the pre generated template.
    2. Remove any questions that should not be asked. Edit any wording for your process.
  3. Determine how you will manage your checklist
    1. Invite each employee to the Simple Check company.
      1. Each day at the office they will Start a new checklist 
      2. It could be possible to fill out the checklist any time (like even not at the office)
    2. Do not invite the employees to join your company
      1. Have each employee download the app.
      2. Use a QR at entrances or break rooms. (If using location tags for physical locations, the QR codes could be specific to those areas)
      3. Any Simple Check user can scan the QR code to fill out the checklist.
      4. Employees must scan the QR code, so must be at the office. 
  4. A report will show each checklist completed, and could be filtered by employee (and any location tags). 


The plan type would estimate be the #employees x  #work days, per month.


Option 2 - Door Greeter

A door greeter would fill out the checklist for each employee that enters the office.


  1. Create Location Tags so each employee is listed in the Tree. Probably should include one top-level for "Guest"
  2. Create the new checklist
    1. Use the pre generated template.
    2. Remove any questions that should not be asked. Edit any wording for your process.
  3. Invite the Door Greeters to your company. 
  4. Each time someone comes through the door, a checklist is started and completed.
  5. A report will show each checklist completed, and could be filtered by employee or the location tags.

The plan type would estimate be the #employees x  #work days, per month.
